This policy explains how Meridian Advisory (“we”, “us”) handles personal data under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry, we share nothing without your written go-ahead, and you can ask us to delete what we hold at any time.

What we collect

When you submit the 60-second check or a consultation request, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, mobile number and/or email address, what your enquiry is about, and anything you write in the message field. We also record basic technical information (IP address, browser type) for spam prevention.

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your enquiry: to have an adviser contact you, to send a written confirmation if you gave us an email, and, if you engage us, to carry out the work you engage us for. We do not use your details for marketing lists, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

Email verification

If you provide an email address, we check with our email service provider that the address can receive mail. This is only so our reply reaches you; the check involves no credit bureau, no lender, and leaves no record on any file about you.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is delivered to our advisers through secured channels and stored in our client database. Nothing is passed to a lender, agency, creditor, or any other third party without your written consent. This is the basis of how the firm works. Our service providers (hosting, database, email delivery, and messaging) process data on our behalf under their own security obligations.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and meet our legal obligations, then deleted. If you would like your details removed sooner, tell us and we will delete them.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for us to contact you. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool (Umami) to count page visits in aggregate; it stores no cookies and cannot identify you personally. If any of this changes, this policy will be updated first.
